Welcome to Gleam Office Solutions. By accessing our website or engaging our commercial cleaning services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Interpretation
In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:
- "Client" means the individual, company, or firm purchasing the Services;
- "Contract" means the contract for the purchase and sale of the Services;
- "Services" means the commercial cleaning, janitorial, and associated maintenance services provided by Gleam Office Solutions;
- "Site" means the premises where the Services are to be performed as specified in the Quote or Service Agreement;
- "Quote" means the written quotation provided by Gleam Office Solutions to the Client for the provision of Services.
3. Basis of Contract
These Terms apply to the supply of Services by Gleam Office Solutions to the Client. They shall prevail over any other terms and conditions put forward by the Client. No variation to these Terms shall be binding unless agreed in writing by an authorized representative of Gleam Office Solutions.
4. Services
We shall provide the Services with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with industry standards and the specific specifications outlined in the Quote. We reserve the right to amend the specifications if necessary to comply with applicable safety or statutory regulations, provided we notify the Client promptly.
The Client acknowledges that the nature of cleaning services means that results may vary depending on the condition and age of surfaces, furnishings, and fixtures. We do not guarantee permanent removal of all stains or damage to surfaces that were pre-existing.
5. Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
- Provide safe and unobstructed access to the Site at the agreed times;
- Ensure that the Site is compliant with all health and safety regulations applicable to the Client's business;
- Notify us of any known hazards or risks at the Site prior to the commencement of work;
- Ensure that utilities (water, electricity, and heat) are available at the Site;
- Secure valuables and confidential documents. Gleam Office Solutions accepts no liability for loss of or damage to money, jewelry, or other valuables left on the premises;
- Obtain any necessary permissions or permits required for our staff to access the Site.
6. Fees and Payment
The fees for the Services shall be as set out in the Quote. Gleam Office Solutions reserves the right to adjust fees upon reasonable notice (typically 30 days) to reflect changes in material costs, labor rates, or statutory requirements. New clients will be notified of any changes prior to the commencement of service.
Payment terms are strictly 30 days from the date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at the rate of 4% per annum above the base rate of the Bank of England from the due date until the date of actual payment.
If the Client fails to make payment on time, Gleam Office Solutions reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Services without liability until payment is received in full.
7. Cancellation and Termination
By the Client: The Client may terminate the Contract by giving 30 days' written notice. If the Client terminates without notice, the Client shall be liable for the full value of the Services scheduled for the notice period.
By Gleam Office Solutions: We may terminate the Contract immediately by written notice to the Client if the Client commits a material breach of these Terms, such as failure to pay fees or if it becomes unlawful for us to provide the Services.
8. Liability
Gleam Office Solutions shall have no liability to the Client for any loss, damage, costs, expenses, or other claims for compensation arising from any work undertaken which is caused by:
- Faulty design, materials, or workmanship supplied by the Client;
- Any instructions supplied by the Client which are incomplete or incorrect;
- Any failure by the Client to comply with their obligations under Clause 5.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Our total liability to the Client in respect of any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Services (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) shall be limited to the total value of the Services performed in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.
9. Health and Safety
Both parties agree to comply with their respective obligations under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all other relevant health and safety legislation. We will conduct risk assessments for our activities and provide necessary safety data sheets for cleaning products used. The Client must ensure their own staff do not interfere with our work processes in a manner that creates a safety risk.
10. Data Protection and Privacy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Our use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By providing us with your data, you consent to our processing it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
All copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in this website and in the materials provided on it (including text, graphics, logos, and software) belong to Gleam Office Solutions or our licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any content from this website without our express written permission.
12. Force Majeure
Gleam Office Solutions shall not be liable to the Client or be deemed to be in breach of these Terms by reason of any delay in performing or any failure to perform any of our obligations if the delay or failure is due to any cause beyond our reasonable control ("Force Majeure"). Force Majeure includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, war, strikes, lock-outs, or industrial action.
13. Indemnity
The Client agrees to indemnify Gleam Office Solutions against any losses, damages, costs, expenses, or other claims arising from the Client's breach of these Terms or the Client's negligence.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the website or Services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
